Interior lighting tips with LED lights

At EXIN Magazine, this time we have planned to spread some innovative ideas and show you to decorate your home with LED lights.
LED lights are a bit popular now-a-days due to its low energy consumption and effectiveness towards the ‘Go Green’ campaign trending right now across the globe. So here we present a speedy lesson and tell you about LED lamps, lights, fixtures and bulbs.

Experts say that there are two thumb rules on how you should use LED lights. So, firstly, you should introduce a mix and match of light sources at different levels in your interiors to create a flattering ambience. And secondly, you need appropriate task lighting for whatever you do in that space. Task lighting is used to increase illumination in a place for some specific function.
First comes the living room, the space where you connect with your guest and is the highest traffic area in the house. So EXIN Magazine recommends you to focus on three to four corners that you find the most intriguing to place a light, and Bang on! Simply use a combination of table lamps and floor lamps, with some downward glow and with some upward. Place multiple reading places beside the down-glowing lamps. Now a simple LED dimmer, and here it is, the living room got a makeover with LED lights.

For the dining room designing with the LED light or LED strips, you can easily place a chandelier on top of the dining table. Another option is to stick the LED chains in the within the borders of you glass top table. In kitchen, you can use pendants, under-cabinet lights, or a sturdy table lamp but make sure to keep all the light sources away from the sink.

The cozy and most comfortable part of the home, the bedroom need to be handled carefully once you plan to place LED lights there. We suggest placing reading lamps or sconces by the bed, but pointed indirectly. Also, on a low table, place a small, intimate lamp with a tinted low-wattage bulb to mimic candlelight.

One can also decorate the bathroom with LED lights. Place one at the mirror or an overhead LED lamp, perfect for illuminating the area. Stairs and entrances are other two places whre you can place LED lights. In both of the areas you can place bright and high wattage bulbs and strips, according to traffic.

Waldspirale

The Waldspirale is a residential building complex in Darmstadt, Germany, built in the 1990s. The name translates into English as forest spiral, reflecting both the general plan of the building and the fact that it has a green roof. EXIN Magazines brings for you the details of one of the most intriguing architectural landmarks in the world — Waldspirale.
Designed by Austrian artist Friedensreich Regentag Dunkelbunt Hundertwasser, known primarily for his flamboyant art, this residential complex in Germany is designed with the expressed aim of avoiding straight lines.
Waldspirale was planned and implemented by architect Heinz M. Springmann, and constructed by the Bauverein Darmstadt company. The building was completed in 2000.
The Waldspirale (forest spiral) houses as many trees as people with a large variety of species including beech on the roof. No two windows are the same and Hundertwasser even tiled some of the bathrooms himself.
The Waldspirale apartment building is located in Darmstadt’s Burgerparkviertel. It contains 105 apartments and a parking garage. In the past, the topmost part of the building has had restaurants, cafes and bars for people to visit. Currently, there are no open amenities for visitors. The inner courtyard contains a playground for the children of the residents and a small artificial lake. Peculiarities of the U-shaped building are the unique facade, which does not follow a regular grid organization, and the windows, which appear as if they were ‘aus der Reihe tanzen’ (dancing out of line) everywhere and appearing out of order, often with tree tenants. The diagonal roof, planted with grass, shrubs, flowers and trees, rises like a ramp along the U-form. At its highest point, the building has 12 floors.
The windows of the Waldspirale, which number over 1000, are all unique: no two windows are the same. Similarly, different handles are attached in each apartment to the doors and windows. Some of the apartments are decorated in Friedensreich Hundertwasser’s personal style and exhibit the colourful tiles in the bath and kitchen that are characteristic of his work. Furthermore, all the corners are rounded off in these apartments along the roof and walls in an application of Hundertwasser’s dogma “gegen die gerade Linie” meaning ‘against the straight line’. For cost reasons, only a few of the apartments’ interiors were designed individually.

From the outside, the typical elements of Hundertwasser’s personal style attract attention: the gilded onion domes the absence of straight lines and sharp corners, the multi-coloured painting of the building in earth tones and the colourful ceramic columns.

It’s Monsoon! Happy Landscaping!

Maintaining the right balance in rain and landscaping is not everybody’s cup of tea. While many think of landscaping is easy in monsoon, it is actually not so. Monsoons wash away the soil, while the breeze speed and thunderstorms always breaks the plants and devastates the beauty.

To keep your landscape area- be it big or small- here are some tips from EXIN Magazine. As monsoons helps the greens to create new life, make the soil and plan to plant new weeds to enjoy their beauty later at the year.

EXIN Magazine also suggests covering the trees, especially the weaker ones. A storm is vulnerable to trees, so tie around a cloth to prevent the trees and leaves from breaking.
Also, you can place wind breaks. A windbreak will provide your foliage with much needed shelter from the storm and heavy rains. Trees those are planted on the leeward side of a building will have natural wind protection during a monsoon, said the experts.

EXIN Magazine also suggests pruning your trees before the monsoon rains. It is a natural barrier to the trees and with proper pruning, trees gets healthy and able to protect themselves from the natural calamities.
Dig a pond to store the monsoon rain water. A stored water area will serve together- increase the water level and a nice, small water area to spend leisure time with the family.
Seasonal tree maintenance is also another confusing, labor intensive and sometimes dangerous option for monsoon landscaping of to your garden. So now click photos in front  of the vivid green luster.
